Ever been too polite to get out of a situation?

Have you ever been in a situation you didn't want to be in but you were too polite to find a way out of it?

Hopefully not recently but as Good Girl Rebels we likely all have at some point, at least when we were younger. I certainly have.

In episode 2 of the Full of Ourselves podcast, Heidi and I talk about the definition of ladylike and how we would redefine it. This episode was recorded a while ago but feels even more apt to share given the state of the world.

I saw this quote and it made me think of our conversation:

'When they tell you it's not ladylike to raise your voice, remember that the world fears the fire in your words - let it burn everything that tries to silence you'

Full of Ourselves Podcast episode 2

In this episode of the Full of Ourselves podcast, Anna Campbell and Heidi Hinda Chadwick explore the concept of 'ladylike' including the cultural expectations surrounding femininity, the impact of social media on self-presentation, and the challenges women face in professional environments. Anna and Heidi Hinda invite us to reclaim the term 'ladylike' to encompass empowerment, authenticity, and the ability to express our true self without societal constraints.
