Podcast interview: Self sabotage and procrastination? Clearing your blocks to your business success

I am one of the podcast hosts for the Jewellers Academy podcast and I will share episodes that are relevant to all businesses here in the blog.

This was a great interview with my friend Alison Hughes. Alison is a counsellor, working with women from burnout to breakthrough. With over a decade of experience, working in various health trusts and private counselling, Alison now specialises in working with women who recognise that they are far from where they want to be and want to help to get there fast.

In this chat, we cover lots of great ground including:

  • The issues that can come up with areas of our business we don’t love

  • Giving ourselves permission to be the beginner at business matters

  • The different parts of our self and why they may be in conflict

  • Why conflict within our self may lead to procrastination and fear

  • Why it’s important to know what your money story is

  • A strategy for working on yourself with three great questions that will help you get unstuck
