Podcast interview: 7 Ways to Increase Your Visibility as an Introvert in Business

I am one of the podcast hosts for the Jewellers Academy podcast and I will share episodes that are relevant to all businesses here on the blog.

This week on the podcast, Janine Friston, founder of the Female Business Network, joined me to talk all about her top tips for growing your business and visibility, particularly for introverts. This was a really great interview that we ended up having to do twice because the recording didn’t work the first time! It was really frustrating because the conversation had been so good. Fortunately Janine was gracious enough to agree to do it again and it probably was an even better conversation because we had already had it before!

Janine is the founder of the Female Business Network. An introvert herself, she knows first-hand the best ways to increase visibility and she shared lots of great tips that, while focused on jewellers and product-based businesses, will definitely be relevant to any type of product or service business. The focus was on strategies that help introverts navigate the challenge of promoting your business and connecting with your target audience.

In this chat, we cover lots of great ground including:

00:00 Introduction and Discussion of Introversion in Business

07:47 1: Mastering Social Media Essentials

11:06 2: Creating Faceless Content

18:04 3: Improving Local Visibility with Google Business Profile

23:24 4: Harnessing the Power of Email Marketing

26:10 5: Establishing Social Proof with Customer Reviews
